Hot sun, blue skies and a much needed sea filled escape away.
I always enjoy exploring new terrain and have a very soft spot for Greece.
The vibrant colours, glorious plants and architecture leave you feeling revitalised and inspired.
Bougainvillea blooms add a splash of deep beautiful pink against the fresh white paintwork, that with the azure blue sky, it’s such a visual treat.
Autumn clocks have fallen back giving us darker evenings but not for long. There isn’t much to tackle in the garden until all the leaves have fallen which won’t be long either.
The Acer has arrived at its most beautiful stage with deep russet red leaves carpeting the flowerbed and creating a red glow in my kitchen when the sun makes an appearance.
I will clear away some of the asters once the final flowers are over but I don’t cut everything away so there’s a bit of protection for the super early shoots bound to pop up this side of Spring.
It’s the in between time now, so I’m just enjoying all the colours as they change, and getting everything ready for next Spring.
Sending you all good health and happiness for the seasonal change.
